“I heard BizLINC shut down and is now running a summer camp for time-traveling historians! And Derrick Blue is the camp’s head counselor, leading sessions on ancient alien archaeology!” Well, I saw it online, so it’s gotta be true!
If BizLINC is closed down, someone should let lifelong resident, community leader, and CEO Lori Young know that the employees and community partners of her company, Auto Injury Coach, must be figments of our collective imagination. And those seven private offices BizLINC occupies? They’re actively housing local startups and budding entrepreneurs, not just empty spaces.
And while we’re at it, let’s inform Lake Wales residents Greg and Sharina George, owners of George Development Group and founders of Next Gen Academy, that their daily training sessions and impactful programs must be illusions. If BizLINC were truly out of business, these dedicated individuals wouldn’t be receiving the essential support they need to empower their community initiatives. But in reality, they are—thanks to BizLINC's ongoing support.
Certainly, there may be a few individuals who wish BizLINC—and other organizations supporting our Northwest community—would close. However, let’s set the record straight: BizLINC has been operating successfully since 2022 and is far from closing its doors. Our impact has only strengthened, and we’re enthusiastic about the future.
Moral of the story: Don’t take every headline at face value. Verify the facts for yourself. BizLINC is vibrant, thriving, and committed to its mission. For accurate and current information, visit thebizlinc.com.
