I started this journey being led by the Lord to start a business to help redevelop struggling areas. My area of focus is restoring or what I call "reconstructing" Black and low-income neighborhoods. Through my experience in redevelopment, I started an initiative called ReCon-Struct NOW! based off of principles used in the Book of Nehemiah. Currently, I am implementing that concept in cities throughout the State of Florida but none more apparent than what I've been able to accomplish in the city of Lake Wales.

The purpose of our non-profit organization 501(c)3 is to provide judgment-free support and resources to young mothers and young abused women. We strive to help these individuals develop the life skills and knowledge they need to become self-sufficient. We host a variety of workshops tailored to the unique needs of each individual and aim to give back to the community through our services. Our goal is to empower each woman to reach her full potential and create a better life for herself, her family, and her community.

The Christian Mission is a faith-based ministry that carries a great passion to help those previously incarcerated to get re-established into society. We believe that at the core of every man’s heart is a desire for their life to have meaning, to belong, to be loved and to love. Coach Jake has served in various leadership capacities throughout his career as a diabetes specialist; directing, coordinating, and facilitating kids, teens, young adults, adults, and elders to improve their sugars and health through improved food choices, lifestyle changes, and via insulin pump therapy.
